Welcome to the profession of teaching at Vidya Bhawan Gandhian Institute of Educational Studies, Ramgiri, Udaipur. The Institute is focused on education for sustainable living, especially in the light of Gandhian philosophy of education. We believe that becoming a teacher is the most challenging profession of life. A teacher is a reflective practitioner and a change agent who shapes society, nation and world at large. Such teachers are to be nurtured by a teacher-education institution, which is committed to build professionals who are empowered in content and pedagogical skills. They should be capable of creating an environment of learning, reflection, democratic participation and action concerning local and global issues.
